新的芝加哥全球门户将三倍扩大SEKO Logistics在芝加哥的足迹,2019年芝加哥地区的业务有望增长三倍

SEKO Logistics在伊利诺伊州芝加哥市开设了全球门户,这标志着其向收购增长阶段的过渡,并将不断发展和差异化在 全球第三方市场中的服务。

继1月份收购总部位于芝加哥的海关经纪和货运代理GoodShip International之后,SEKO宣布对芝加哥枢纽中心进行扩建,规模将扩大两倍。 之前,SEKO购买了合作伙伴Omni-Channel Logistics的多数股权,标志着SEKO通过选择合适的战略合作伙伴和收购活动来提升SEKO在技术、网络和服务方面能力的战略举措。 新的SEKO芝加哥枢纽将成为其不断扩张的国际、国内和退货包裹解决方案的跨境电商包裹处理中心。

预计2019年芝加哥地区的业务将增长三倍,新中心有能力满足未来中西部地区的业务发展需求。 新扩建的中心占地10.3万平方英尺,设有17个卸货和坡道门,以及一个五层高的托盘货架仓储系统。 中心已通过CTPAT和Indirect Air Carrier的认证,同时配备了电子门禁系统和覆盖建筑内外的高分辨率监控摄像头。 新中心内的全电动设备确保了最佳的环境效率。 未来,新中心还将设立一个用于医疗设备的无尘室和一个温控室,以增强公司“白手套”服务和全渠道物流能力。   

芝加哥门户中心将处理SEKO所有的合同物流、空运和海运、交叉转运、白手套和增值货运服务,以及提供海关经纪、合规等专业服务。 芝加哥门户的服务对象从领先国际品牌到技术型初创企业,涉及领域包括航空航天、飞机制造、汽车、能源、电子、快消品、高科技、工业、医疗、零售以及贸易展会与活动等。

Brian Bourke is the Vice President of Marketing of SEKO Logistics, a position he has held since his return in 2012. Speaking five languages, he brings a level of creativity and vitality which is well beyond his years. He is responsible for the internal and external communication of the unique features and benefits of SEKO’s Global logistics solutions. Mr. Bourke began his career with SEKO in 2005 after receiving his BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin. He was head of Marketing Communications for Geodis Wilson prior to returning to SEKO.
